Guilfoyle inspired by ‘enduring economic power’ of US-Greek relations

Kimberly Guilfoyle, US President-elect Donald Trump's nominee as the next US ambassador to Greece, has said she is "inspired by the enduring economic power of the US-Greece partnership."

"Bolstering American investments in Greece will strengthen security, promote prosperity, and build upon the goodwill between America and Greece," Guilfoyle said, in a social media post sharing a clip from a recent episode from her online chat show.

Describing the Greek people as "resilient," she said their country "has defined itself by a determination to build an economy that's growing better than ever before."

"Under the leadership of President Trump and in partnership with our Greek allies, I'm eager to serve as the next US ambassador and deliver on an agenda committed to innovation, energy security, and robust economic growth."
