Suspect arrested for killing man outside train station

A 35-year-old suspect was arrested on Friday for stabbing to death a 41-year-old man outside the Agios Eleftherios ISAP train station in Athens on December 8.

The victim was found dead on the steps of the station by passersby in the early hours of Sunday.

As part of the investigation, police seized the backpack, clothes and shoes worn by the accused when the murder happened. The motive for the attack remains unclear.
