Free STI testing at Athens municipal clinics

Free confidential testing for HIV, viral hepatitis B and C, as well as syphilis, is being offered at the municipal clinics of Athens.

Starting this Wednesday, citizens will be able to undergo rapid tests easily and painlessly. They will also have the opportunity to receive immediate answers to their questions about sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and general sexual health issues from specialized staff and, if needed, be referred to a doctor.

The service is provided under the supervision of the National Public Health Organization (EODY) and aims at early diagnosis, combating stigma, raising awareness and improving public information about sexual health.
