Teenagers charged with robbery, assault
Four teenagers have been charged with robbery and assault following a violent incident near the Maroussi ISAP train station in northern Athens on Christmas Eve.
The Athens Prosecutor's Office filed felony charges of joint robbery and misdemeanors, including dangerous bodily harm, illegal possession of weapons and their use.
The charges stem from an attack on two 17-year-old boys who were assaulted with metal rods by a group of over 10 assailants. The victims were hospitalized with injuries.
Police arrested seven individuals in connection with the attack, including two 17-year-olds and two 18-year-olds identified by the victims, as well as three parents charged with neglecting the supervision of minors.
The four main suspects have been referred to an examining magistrate, while separate case files will be prepared for the parents of the minors involved...
