HDP officially nominates Demirtaş for presidential elections
The Peoplesâ Democratic Party (BDP) officially submitted the name of its presidential candidate, Selahattin DemirtaÅ, the HDP co-chair, to Parliament Speaker Cemil Ãiçek on July 1.
HDP Parliament Group Deputy Chair Ä°dris Baluken submitted the petition, signed by 30 lawmakers, saying the election next month is important and its âresult more important.â

30 Kg Amphetamine Seized in Special Operation in Bulgaria's Pernik
Bulgaria's State Agency for National Security (DANS) has seized 30 kg of amphetamine tablets, the agency announced.

Liverpool clinch Lallana transfer deal
Liverpool have completed the signing of Adam Lallana after the Southampton and England midfielder successfully underwent a club medical on Tuesday.
The transfer fee agreed by Southampton for the 26-year-old midfielder is believed to be around 25million (31million euros) and he will be on a five-year contract.

Zimonjic, Nestor through to Wimbledon quarterfinal
LONDON - Serbian tennis player Nenad Zimonjic and his Canadian colleague Daniel Nestor qualified for the Wimbledon championships quarterfinal in men's doubles as they defeated Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay and David Marrero Santana of Spain in the third round match on Tuesday, 7-6 (10-8), 4-6, 6-4.
Later in the day, Zimonjic will play once more in a match in the mixed doubles category.
