Turkey Hit by Massive Blackout

Tens of provinces across Turkey were left without electricity on Tuesday after a damage to the power grid that passes through the biggest city Istanbul links the country's European and Asian territories.

Turkish PM Ahmet Davutoglu says no version is currently being dismissed to explain the incident, including a terror attack, according to Hürriyet Daily News.

ISIL attacks Syrian village, kills 30: monitor

Bulgaria marked one of biggest year-on-year falls in unemployment rate in the EU in February 2015, official statistics showed on Tuesday.

The EU-28 unemployment rate was 9.8% in February, down from 9.9% in the prior month and from 10.5% in February 2014.

US-led training for Syrian rebels to start in May: Turkish minister

A U.S.-led programme to train Syrian rebels to fight Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants will start in May, Turkey's Defence Minister ?smet Y?lmaz was quoted as saying by the state-run Anadolu news agency on March 31.
