Container filled with cluster bombs found in southwest

A container filled with unexploded cluster bombs has been discovered close to the Dubinje military airport, near Sjenica in southwestern Serbia.

The public broadcaster RTS is reporting that based on the markings on the container, it was made in the United States, and was used by NATO during the military alliance's attacks on Serbia in 1999.

Bulgaria PM 'Utterly Disappointed' with Referendum Questions

Russia Vetoes UN Resolution for Setting Tribunal on MH17 Disaster

Russia vetoed on Wednesday the United Nations (UN) resolution on establishing an international tribunal for prosecuting the people guilty of shooting down the Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 (MH17).

Eleven members of the UN Security Council (UNSC) voted in favour of the proposal, which would have been enough for the resolution to be adopted, but Russia used its right of veto.

Former JSO unit member suspected in triple murder case

A suspect in a triple murder case dating back to 2000 is a former member of the disbanded Unit for Special Operations (JSO).

This is according to an article in the Belgrade-based daily Blic.

Open Letter to Greek PM A. Tsipras by the Gold Standard Institute Chairman

Dear Prime Minister Tsipras,

First, congratulations for mustering the popular support to say “no” to the troika. The euro has long offered Greece a perverse incentive to borrow, and now your country is trapped in debt. By any conventional means, Greece cannot repay (I propose an unconventional way, below). The sooner everyone acknowledges this simple fact the better.
