German foreign minister to visit Greece on December 4-5

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier is due in Greece for a two-day visit on Sunday and Monday, where among other engagements, he will inaugurate an exhibition in Thessaloniki.

On Sunday, Steinmeier will be welcomed by Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos at 5.30 p.m. in Athens and then hold an official meeting with his Greek counterpart Nikos Kotzias.

Bosnia: Controlled explosion of 250-kilo aerial bomb/VIDEO

A 250-kilogram aerial bomb found on Wednesday in the Privilnica suburb of the Bosnian town of Bihac has been destroyed.

The controlled explosion took place on Friday morning, and went as planned, causing no injuries or damage, Sead Vrana of the Civil Protection Administration of Bosnia-Herzegovina's Muslim-Croat entity (FBiH) told reporters.

İdil Biret celebrates 75th birthday

Turkish pianist İdil Biret's 75th birthday will be celebrated at a concert by the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra on Dec. 3 in Ankara.

At the concert, to be conducted by Rengim Gökmen, Biret will play Rachmaninov's "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op.43."

One person killed due to fuel tanker explosion in Istanbul
