Vucic: Gov't open to all wishing to participate in reforms
BELGRADE - The Serbian government is open to all those wishing to participate in reforms, PM Aleksandar Vucic said at the presentation of the Foreign Investors Council 2016 White Book Monday.
Serbia has sustainable growth and the economy is on a stable footing, Vucic said, adding that he always took into account the professional and expert views of the business community.
Vucic: Contact with Trump's office could be established soon
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic said Monday his recent visit to Abu Dhabi had included meetings with advisers to US president-elect Donald Trump, and added that he was expecting to soon establish contact with Trump's office and with Trump himself.
Vucic was responding to media speculations that he had travelled to Abu Dhabi to attend a Formula 1 race.
Davenport: Serbia-NATO partnership the right approach
BELGRADE - It is for Serbia to determine its policy towards NATO, and the partnership approach is the right one, the Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Michael Davenport, said Monday.
Serbia has made the strategic choice about heading towards the EU, as reaffirmed multiple times, but we have also seen an evolution of Serbia's approach towards partnership with NATO, said Davenport.
Contract signed with EIB on upgrading judiciary buildings
BELGRADE - The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Serbian government on Monday signed a financial contract on the upgrading of judiciary buildings.
It was signed by Serbian Minister of Finance Dusan Vujovic and EIB VP Dario Scannapieco, after Scannapieco's meeting with Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic, the EIB said in a statement.
Vucic, Scannapieco: EIB fully supports Serbia
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Monday spoke with European Investment Bank (EIB) Vice-President Dario Scannapieco, who praised the very good results of the Serbian government's economic policy, expressing readiness on behalf of the EIB to fully support the further reform process in Serbia.
