Hotels fretting over protocols

Hotel health protocols intended to safeguard guests and staff from the novel coronavirus are either vague, impossible to implement or simply too costly to be sustainable, according to businesses and associations in the sector.

Turkey still blocking defense plans for Poland, Baltics, say NATO allies

Turkey continues to block NATO defense plans for Poland and Baltic states despite a deal in London last year between Turkey's president and allied leaders, three allied diplomats and a French defense official said on Wednesday.

Diplomats said while Ankara has approved the plan, known as Eagle Defender, it has not allowed NATO military chiefs to put it into action.

Banks grant loans of 4 billion lei under IMM Invest programme

As of June 15, banks had granted loans to the amount of 4 billion lei under the IMM Invest programme, and this week the one billion euro equivalent mark will be passed, Cristian Paun, chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Credit Guarantee Fund for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises SA - IFN (FNGCIMM SA - IFN), said on Wednesday.
