Flybe ceases trading, cancels all flights

British airline Flybe said on Jan. 28 it had ceased trading and all flights had been canceled.

"We are sad to announce that Flybe has been placed into administration," the airline tweeted.

"Flybe has now ceased trading. All Flybe flights from & to the U.K. are canceled & will not be rescheduled," it said.

Turkish defense company to develop software for NATO

A Turkish defense company STM has won two NATO tenders to develop software for an information flow system.

STM stated that the tenders are related to the projects of the NATO Communications and Information Agency's project for the direction, collection, processing, and dissemination of intelligence.

Ark of the World founder to appear before prosecutor Friday

The founder of the Ark of the World children's foundation, which is under investigation for child abuse and financial fraud, will appear before the prosecutor for an initial statement on Friday as a suspect in the commission of a felony and a misdemeanor. 

Sabato De Sarno named new Gucci creative director

Italian designer Sabato De Sarno has been named the new creative director of Gucci and will unveil his first collection during Milan Fashion Week next September, Gucci and parent company Kering announced Saturday.

De Sarno has previously worked for Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino, where he was most recently fashion director overseeing both men's and women's collections.
