Air Serbia to launch direct flights between Belgrade and Tel Aviv on April 6
BELGRADE - Air Serbia will commence direct flights between Belgrade and Tel Aviv on April 6, the airline announced on Monday.
"Airbus A319 aircraft of the national airline will be flying between the capital of Serbia and Ben Gurion Airport three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays," it said in a statement.
Vucic meets with G42 representatives in Abu Dhabi
ABU DHABI - As part of a working visit to the UAE, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Monday visited the G42 Institute in Abu Dhabi and held a meeting with the company's representatives.
G42 is a leading AI and cloud computing development company that has operations in the UAE, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.
Vucic: We have new note of derecognition of Kosovo
MUNICH - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday in Munich Serbia was in possession of a new note of derecognition of the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo.
"But we have an agreement with that country to wait until February 23 or 24, or for about ten days, after which we will announce the name of that country," Vucic told Pink TV.
Belgrade prosecutor's office seeks custody for two coup suspects
BELGRADE - The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade on Friday requested custody for two men suspected of calling for a violent overthrowing of authorities and the president of the Republic of Serbia.
At hearings earlier in the day, the suspects, identified as Damnjan K, 34, and Dejan Z, 53, denied that they had committed any criminal offence, an official statement said.
