A heat warning has been issued in Finland from Tuesday to Friday, according to Agence France-Presse. Temperatures are anticipated to surpass 27 degrees Celsius.

Relative slowdown in rise of apartment rates in Q1

Apartment prices increased by 10.4%, on average, in the first quarter of 2024, compared to the corresponding quarter of 2023, the central bank reported on Tuesday. In 2023, apartment prices had increased at an average annual rate of 13.8% (based on revised data), against an increase of 11.9% in 2022. 

Teacher injured by firecrackers in northern Athens school

A teacher at a middle school in the northern Athens suburb of Maroussi sustained minor injuries to her legs after a group of boys let off several large firecrackers inside school grounds.

Police have remanded nine minors for questioning in connection with the incident, which took place at around 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
