Zelensky Develops New Peace Plan as Ukraine Gains IMF Support

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed his efforts towards formulating a new "diplomatic plan" aimed at resolving the ongoing war. He expressed confidence that the proposed plan will garner significant backing from the international community. Zelensky also announced the successful return of at least ten Ukrainian civilians who were held captive in Russia and Belarus.

Turkey gets Ecumenical Patriarch removed from Ukraine Peace Summit statement

Earlier this month, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew - along with many other countries and organizations - attended the Ukraine Peace Summit. Nearly 80 countries issued a statement calling for the "territorial integrity" of Ukraine to be the basis for any peace agreement to end Russia's two-year war. The Ecumenical Patriarch's signature was originally on that document.

Greedflation sweeps market

Fire breaks out in Keratea, two villages evacuated

A wildfire broke out southeast of the Greek capital in Keratea on Saturday morning, with residents in two settlements told to move to a safer area.

Forty-five firefighters with 17 vehicles, two units on foot, two water bombers and two helicopters have been deployed, the fire service said.
