Central government budget deficit widens last month

The central government budget posted a deficit of 129.6 billion Turkish Liras in August, rising from a deficit of 96.8 billion liras in the previous month, the Finance Ministry has said.

In August 2023, the budget ran a surplus of 51.3 billion liras.

Vucevic: No major problems expected with water levels in Serbia

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic said on Monday the authorities were watching closely the situation regarding the water levels of rivers in central Europe and that water levels in Serbia were expected to peak between September 24 and 26.

Minister denies reports of data theft
