Kostunica: Serbia subjected to aggressive propaganda
BELGRADE - Leader of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Vojislav Kostunica said on Saturday that Serbia's moral and traditional values are at risk, and that the country is being subjected to aggressive propaganda aimed at historical revisionism and change in the historical conscience.
PKS signs deal with Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce
BELGRADE - President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) Zeljko Sertic and President of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce Jaafar Al-Hamdani signed an agreement on business cooperation on Friday aimed at improving economic relations and facilitating cooperation between businessmen.
Former minister Radulovic submits electoral list
BELGRADE - Former minister of economy Sasa Radulovic submitted a slate titled "Enough of That" on Friday evening, fielding 70 candidates for MPs for early parliamentary elections set for March 16.
In a statement to reporters, Radulovic underscored that the objective of his list is the fight against the particracy led by Aleksandar Vucic, leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).

Deadline for submitting slates has expired
BELGRADE - The deadline expired at midnight for submitting slates for early parliamentary elections that will be held on March 16, and on the last day the national electoral commission (RIK) received eight lists.

Director Boban Skerlic opens 42nd Fest
BELGRADE - Director Boban Skerlic declared open 42nd International Film Festival Fest, which began with the premiere of his movie "So Hot Was the Cannon" (Top je bio vreo) on Friday evening.
This drama is about one boy's growing up in Sarajevo during the war. The screenplay was written by Vladimir Kecmanovic and Ales Kurt.

Canadian artist Jo Ann Lanneville to exhibit in Belgrade
BELGRADE - 'The Nature of the Universe', an exhibition of works by the prominent Canadian printmaker Jo Ann Lanneville, will be opened at the Belgrade gallery of Graficki kolektiv on March 3.
In this exhibition, the artist addresses the issue of disturbing the ecological balance, and offers the viewers a place to hide and avoid witnessing the destruction of the environment.
Parties need to show self-control and respect for citizens
BELGRADE – The Protector of the Citizens, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection and the Anti-Corruption Agency appealed Friday to all participants in the election campaign ahead of Serbia’s early parliamentary elections to respect “the letter and spirit of the rules” and to establish a higher degree of self-control and respect for citizens.
