Serbia, Macedonia "to cooperate more closely"
BELGRADE -- Foreign Ministers of Serbia and Macedonia Ivan Mrkić and Nikola Poposki agreed on Friday in Belgrade that the two countries "share the same EU prospects."
They announced closer cooperation in the future.

Retail prices increase by 1.4 percent in January
BELGRADE - The prices of consumer goods and services increased by 1.4 percent on average in January 2014 relative to December 2013, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia released on Friday.
Consumer prices increased by 3.1 percent in January 2014 relative to the same month in 2013 and the average annual increase in 2013 totalled 7.8 percent.

Serbia needs facilities for ship generated waste
BELGRADE - Minister of Transport Aleksandar Antic said on Friday that Serbia does not have a single facility for disposing of ship-generated waste, so a total of nine facilities should be built along the Danube, Sava, Tisa rivers.

National Theater to perform in Turkey
BELGRADE - Belgrade's National Theater will participate in the first International Balkan Countries' Theater Festival to be held in the Turkish city of Bursa on March 8-22, with their production of William Shakespeare's Henry VI, National Theater released on Thursday.
Besides the host country, the festival will gather theaters from Croatia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece and Romania.
