Ankara repatriates seven citizens held in eastern Libya
Turkey on Nov. 20 brought seven Turkish citizens, who have been held upon baseless allegations for about two years in eastern Libya, as a result of the joint works of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) with the Qatar Intelligence Agency (QSS).

Greece to reopen Tripoli embassy
Greece on Saturday announced plans to reopen its embassy in Tripoli, the Libyan capital.
The announcement by the Greek Foreign Ministry came a day after UN sponsored talks produced a new interim government for Libya aimed at resolving a decade of chaos, division and violence by holding national elections later this year.

Haftar's team pays visit to Syrian regime officials
A committee formed by Libya's renegade commander Khalifa Haftar visited Syria to meet officials of the Bashar al-Assad regime.

Eastern Libya forces will not allow the United Nations to use the only functioning airport in the capital Tripoli, a spokesman for the group that has been trying to capture the city from the internationally recognized government said on Feb. 12.
Haftar seeks support in Greece
The commander of forces fighting the U.N.-supported government in war-torn Libya has begun meetings in Athens.
Khalifa Haftar met with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias after arriving for a previously unannounced visit late on Jan. 16.
He will continue meetings with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Jan. 17 as well as with other senior Greek officials.
