Bosnia Arrests Suspected Gun-Runners, Cash Smugglers
Bosnia's State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) on Monday arrested five people for smuggling weapons, ammunition and military equipment out of the country, the prosecutor's office said.
It said the suspects are under investigation as a part of an alleged organized crime group which sells firearms in Bosnia, Serbia and Germany.
Belgrade Court Acquits Bosnian Serb of Torture
The Belgrade-based Higher Court ruled on Thursday that there was not enough evidence to convict Pop Kostic of torturing and ill-treating Bosniak civilian Muhamed Bukvic, who was imprisoned in detention camp Luka in Brcko, Bosnia in Herzegovina.
"There is no reliable evidence that the accused Boban Pop Kostic committed a war crime against civilians," presiding judge Vera Vukotic said.

Culture Honour for Pink TV Boss Draws Protest
Mihajlovic who won the City of Belgrade's Zlatni Beocug (Golden Ring) in 1999, has decided to return the award in protest against the city's decision this year to hand an award to Zeljko Mitrovic, the owner of the commercial TV station Pink, for his contribution to culture.
