Construction of Economics College starts in Bujanovac
BUJANOVAC - The cornerstone of a new facility of the Subotica College of Economics, which will cover 2,500 square metres, has been laid in Bujanovac, southern Serbia.
Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport said on Tuesday it had required a lot of joint effort to get the construction under way.

Platinum Wolf 2015 exercise underway
BELGRADE -- The military exercise Platinum Wolf 2015 is underway in the Serbian Army (VS) Base Jug ("South") near the town of Bujanovac, in southern Serbia.
Some 360 members of the VS, the United States Marine Corps Forces Europe and of Bulgarian, Macedonian, Romanian and Croatian army are taking part.

Military reps of 20 countries attend "Shield 04" exercise
BUJANOVAC - Military representatives from 20 countries visited "South" (Jug) military base near Bujanovac in southern Serbia on Thursday, where about 270 members of the Serbian Armed Forces (VS) are taking part in an exercise titled "Shield 04" as part of preparations for participation in UN and EU peacekeeping missions.

Gasic tours Ground Safety Zone
BUJANOVAC - The state will do its utmost to improve the economic status of members of the Serbian military throughout the country, Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic said on Wednesday after inspecting the activities of the 4th Land Forces Brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces.

Bujanovac to become university town
BELGRADE - The planned construction of a Faculty of Economics building in Bujanovac, southern Serbia, will make the town a university town and create conditions for economic development and political stability in the area, the signatories of an agreement to construct the facility have said.
