It should be considered certain that Tuesday’s attack by Iran on Israel will not go unanswered. The question with the collapsing balance isn’t “if” but “when” and “how.”

An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale was registered in the southern Iranian province of Bushehr, there is a nuclear power plant nearby, Reuters reported, referring to state television.

Reports are coming out of Tehran that ex-Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been arrested for contributing to widespread unrest in the country that has seen at least 22 killed.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Jan. 12 that countries behind the fall in global oil prices would regret their decision and warned that Saudi Arabia and Kuwait would suffer alongside Iran from the price drop.
