Police identify 3 suspects in Paris massacre

PARIS -- The search for the attackers on the satirical Paris weekly Charlie Hebdo continues as three suspects have been named.

They are brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi, and Hamyd Mourad.

A total of 7 people have been arrested during the huge-scale special operation overnight aimed at hunting down the two men suspected of killing 12 people in French weekly Charlie Hebdo's offices.

France's Foreign Ministry has confirmed the information.

Seven people have been detained in the hunt for brothers suspected of gunning down 12 people in an Islamist assault on a satirical weekly, a judicial source said Jan. 8.
