At least three Syrian migrants, including two children, drowned early on Jan. 31 in a fresh migrant boat tragedy off the western Turkish resort town of Didim. 

Turkish police detained four suspects and seized a number of armaments in a raid organized jointly between the police and the gendarmerie on a house in the resort town of Didim in the Aegean prov?nce of Ayd?n on Jan. 7.

A repatriation center with a capacity of 400 people will be built in the Ayvac?k district of the northwestern province of Çanakkale.

A total of 116 migrants who attempted to cross into Europe through Turkey have been captured by security forces in the Aegean region over two days.
