Ukraine Downs 72 Russian Drones Amid Widespread Nighttime Attack

Authorities reported three injured workers at one of the affected facilities. Ukraine warns front 'worsened' as Russia claims fresh gains

Ukraine's army leader admitted Sunday that Kiev's position on the battlefield has worsened after Russian forces captured another village in the east, pressing their advantage in manpower and ammunition.

Russia's troops are advancing in the eastern Donetsk region as Kiev awaits the arrival of much-needed U.S. weapons that it hopes will stabilise the fragile front lines.

A big blow to Russia

41 drones were destroyed over Rostov Oblast, three over Volgograd, two over Kursk, and one Ukrainian drone over Belgorod Oblast, reports RIA Novosti.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force shot down 12 of the 15 drones that Russia attacked Ukraine with last night, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced.
