Are they shutting down Zaporizhzhia?
The head of the pro-Russian administration of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevhen Balytskyi, said today that it is possible that the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant will be shut down.
The reason, he says, is the constant shelling of the Ukrainian army.

Mass artillery attacks; The nuclear plant under attack again?
An expert team from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) arrived in Ukraine to visit the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, said the visit to the plant was a "technical mission" aimed at preventing a nuclear accident.
The Russians have proof: They reacted urgently
The letter contained evidence that Ukraine shelled the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant on August 29.
"We sent a letter to the members of the UN Security Council with information from the Russian Ministry of Defense about the Ukrainian shelling of Zaporizhzhya on August 29," the letter states, as TASS reports.

For days, the two sides have been accusing each other of shelling the area around the nuclear power plant in Zaporizhzhia.
Energodar authorities claim that a Ukrainian drone was shot down over the nuclear plant. Previously, the Russian Ministry reported that Ukrainian forces fired nine shells at the nuclear power plant.
Ukraine nuclear plant back online as inspection prepared
Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant occupied by Moscow's troops came back online on Aug. 26, the state operator said, after Kyiv claimed it was cut from the national power grid by Russian shelling.

"The protection system has been raised to a higher level, I cannot reveal the details. We expect today to be fully prepared because everything can be expected from the Zelensky regime," said the representative of the regional administration, Vladimir Rogov.
