Black Sea flavors shine at Lokanta Hayvore

Nearly 300,000 cruise tourists visit country in 2023
Türkiye welcomed more than 299,000 cruise passengers in the first five months of 2023, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu has announced.

Galataport in the metropolitan city of Istanbul is the "port of the year" as per the Seatrade Cruise Awards, the cruise industry's premier award organization.

Istanbul named among world’s best cities in 2022
A U.K.-based culture magazine has picked the world's best 53 cities, ranking Türkiye's largest city Istanbul in the list.
Out of the 53 ranked cities chosen by the Time Out magazine, Edinburgh made it to the top of the list and was followed by Chicago and Medellin, while Istanbul was listed 50th.

Culture Road Festival opens in Istanbul, Ankara
Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy has inaugurated the Beyoğlu and Başkent Culture Road Festival in Istanbul during its launch ceremonies in Istanbul and Ankara on the weekend.
The event in Istanbul opened with a photomarathon event joined by 1,500 photographers.

Alanya welcomes first cruise ship this year
The Alanya district of popular holiday destination Antalya has welcomed this season's first cruise ship.
The luxury liner Artania arrived at the Alanya port from the Limassol port in Greek Cyprus with 690 passengers, most of them German travelers, and 450 crew members on board on April 10. After spending the day in Antalya, the cruise ship set sail for Greece's Rhodes Island.

Exhibition on birds of Istanbul expects visitors
A 10-day-long photography exhibition of Istanbul birds by prominent birdwatcher and photojournalist Alper Tüydeş has been inaugurated at the Turkish metropolis.
Photos of migratory and resident bird species dominant in Istanbul and its surroundings were presented in the exhibition held at Galataport in the Karaköy quarter.
