Russia Bans Imports of Chinese Meat Products
Russian authorities have banned imports of animal products from China to Russia today, as well as Chinese national visits to the country, Izvestia newspaper reported.
According to the publication, it is no longer possible for travellers to import meat products from China into their hand luggage.
The measure is taken because of the Coronavirus and the ASF.

Turkey to export coronavirus diagnostic kit
A diagnostic kit developed by Turkey to identify coronavirus cases will be sold abroad, Turkey's health minister said on Feb. 12.
"It is also planned as a commercial kit and will be sold abroad," Fahrettin Koca told reporters in parliament, underlining that the team who developed the kit had focused on cutting down the time needed for diagnosis.

Scientists in Hong Kong have developed a portable device for rapid coronavirus diagnostics, South China Morning reports.
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology team began work on the development on January 20 and a week later the device was ready.

Turkey warns against China travel after outbreak
Amid the coronavirus outbreak, Turkey on Jan. 27 urged its citizens not to travel China unless it is necessary.
"It is highly recommended that our citizens do not travel to China unless it is necessary and if they travel there, they should stay away from the regions where the [coronavirus] cases are seen, especially in Hubei province," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Turkey Installs Thermographic Cameras at Airports as Precautionary Measure against the New Coronavirus
Turkey has prepared thermographic cameras and other precautionary measures against the spread of the new flu-like coronavirus, but there are currently no cases or patients at risk, the Health Ministry said.
The number of the death cases has increased to 9 with 440 confirmed cases.
