Romanian who died in Hanau attack has been repatriated

The Romanian national who died in the armed attack in Hanau, Germany, has been repatriated on Thursday, a release of the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) sent to AGERPRES informed. Foreign Affairs Minister Bogdan Aurescu ordered that the amounts necessary for the repatriation be ensured from the special funds allocated to the MAE budget for managing consular crisis situations.

Turkey urges unity to fight xenophobia, Islamophobia

All countries should work together in the fight against xenophobia and Islamophobia, Turkish deputy foreign minister said on Feb. 26, referring to a recent racist terror attack in Germany. 

Faruk Kaymakçı spoke during the high-level section of the 43rd session of the Human Rights Council at the European headquarters of the U.N. in Geneva.

President Iohannis sends condolences to family of Romanian who died in the Hanau attacks, Germany

President Klaus Iohannis on Friday morning sent condolences to the family of the Romanian who died in the Hanau attacks, in Germany. "With deep sadness I found out about the violent attacks in Hanau, Germany, where including a Romanian citizen lost his life. I send condolences to the grieving family facing such difficult times," said Iohannis on Twitter.
