Unruly passengers force Glasgow-Hurghada flight to make emergency landing in Crete
An Egypt-bound flight from Scotland had to make an emergency landing in Crete on Monday evening due to unruly conduct by a pair of passengers.
EasyJet U23165, which was en route from Glasgow to Hurghada, was forced to land at Iraklio airport after a couple on board the aircraft became rowdy and aggressive towards the crew.
Brussels Airlines returns to Ljubljana airport
Brnik – Air carriers keep returning to Ljubljana airport as, after more than a one-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a Brussels Airlines aircraft touched down at Brnik again on Monday. The flag carrier of Belgium currently operates three flights a week to and from Ljubljana, and the number of flights is expected to increase.

Numbers of German tourists decline
A recession at home, combined with Greek hotels' loss of competitiveness, due to their being overburdened by taxation, and the recovery of destinations such as Egypt and Turkey, has led to a drop in the number of German tourists this year.
Reservations by Germans on Crete were down 6 percent in July compared to the same month last year, while those in Rhodes dropped 5 percent.

As Prva TV reported, the technical problems that caused the Serbian carrier's plane to emergency land in Paphos had been removed. But the flight from Hurghada to Belgrade, using the same airplane, was several hours late this morning.

Gunmen open fire at Egyptian hotel
Three armed men opened fire at the entrance of a hotel in the Red Sea city of Hurghada, which is one of the most popular resorts.
The attack took place at Bella Vista Hotel, as international media report while security sources confirmed to Reuters that two tourists were injured.
