Bosnian Croat Ex-Fighter Faces Extradition after Arrest in US
Robert Kovacic, a former member of the Croatian Defence Council wanted for war crimes, was arrested last month in the United States on a warrant issued by Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is now awaiting an extradition hearing in a US court in July.
Kovacic, now 66, was arrested in Roanoke, Virginia on May 16. He is currently in custody in the US and his extradition is pending.

Bosnia Urged to Tackle Art Trafficking
"Thousands of artworks were stolen" during the war, and the crimes continued after the end of the conflict, Dzenan Jusufovic, the director of the Bosnian Centre Against Trafficking in Works of Art, told BIRN.
There is no accurate data on the issue, but large numbers of artworks have been stolen from both private and public collections, Jusufovic said.

Three persons arrested for war crime against Serbs
JAJCE - Three persons were arrested in the territory of Jajce, central Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH), on suspicion of committing war crimes against Serb civilians.
The police arrested Umrislav, Luka i Mate Jozic on suspicion that while serving as members of the Croatian Armed Forces they murdered three Serb civilians, reads a statement released by the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

Tanjug marks 71st anniversary
BELGRADE - Today marks the 71st anniversary of foundation of Tanjug News Agency.
Tanjug was established in the midst of anti-Nazi operations of the People's Liberation Army of Yugoslavia and its first task was to inform the world about the outcome of the Second Session of the Anti-Fascist Council of the People's Liberation of Yugoslavia (AVNOJ).

Two persons injured in hand grenade blast in BiH
JAJCE - Two persons were injured when a hand grenade exploded in the village of Vlasinje near Jajce while they were farming the land, the Central Bosnian Canton police have released in a statement.
After receiving the medical treatment at the Health Center, the injured have been discharged and will be receiving home health care.
