Air accident investigators successfully extracted data from Malaysia Airlines flight MH17's two "black boxes", Air Accident Investigation Branch lab in Farnborough said.

The crisis in Ukraine has been a cause for concern for the Polish government ever since its onset, according to Leszek Hensel, Ambassador of Poland to Bulgaria.

Hensel's term in office in Bulgaria expires at the end of July.

Pro-Russian rebels in the east of Ukraine reportedly shot down two fighter jets of Kiev's military forces, agencies from the country said.

Five civilians die as Ukrainian forces shell town

LUGANSK -- Five civilians were killed and 16 others wounded in the last 24 hours in the clashes in Lugansk, in southeastern Ukraine.

Infrastructure facilities and 22 homes have been damaged, according to the press service of the city assembly of Lugansk.

Flights over Bulgaria could increase by 10-15% after the closure of Eastern Ukrainian airspace, Europe's organization for safety of air traffic estimates.

However, Bulgarian private national channel bTV argues the figure could rise, as many airlines have decided to avoid passing via Ukraine in the near future.

Pro-Russian rebels handed over the two black boxes of the Malaysian Airlines' Boeing 777, which crashed in eastern Ukraine on Thursday leaving all 298 on board dead.

Malaysian experts received the flight-data recorders containing information of the time and altitude of the plane when the incident happened and also the conversations in the cockpit.

More accusations, still no investigation

MOSCOW -- The Russian military has said that a Ukrainian SU-25 warplane was flying in the vicinity of a Malaysia Airlines aircraft shortly before it crashed in Ukraine.

The Russian Defense Ministry claims that "Kiev must explain why a military plane was following a passenger flight."

Moscow has said it is ready to support a resolution at the UN Security Council condemning the shooting down of a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 downed in Ukraine last week.

Pro-Russian separatists are still keeping custody of about 200 (out of 298) victims of a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777's plane crash in Eastern Ukraine.

Kiev officials, but also representatives of the militiamen, say international experts have limited access to the site of the wreckage.
