The main constructor of the first phase of the highway sought permission from the country's Agency for Nature and Environmental Protection to repair the damage done to 500 meters of riverbank near the town of Kolasin.

Montenegrin theater unwelcome; emails were "joking" in tone
The Center for Culture from Pozarevac, eastern Serbia, has refused to host a performance of an amateur theater from Kolasin, Montenegro, it has been confirmed.
However, the center's director, Dragi Ivic, told the Belgrade-based daily Blic that the comments from the emails he exchanged with one of the Montenegrin actors were made "jokingly."
Montenegro Expects 2.5 Billion Euro Tourism Boost
A government report on the implementation of priority projects in the tourism sector, which BIRN has seen, said that the country is looking forward to a huge boost from tourist-related investment.
Fourteen development projects started in 2014 are undergoing expansion and over 250 million euro in investment is expected this year.

Montenegrin Journalists Condemn Fresh Attacks
Montenegrin police are searching for the unknown perpetrators of two attacks on the property of journalists in the north of the country.
Unknown persons vandalized the car of journalist Zorica Bulatovic when it was parked in front of her home in the town of Kolasin. After the attack, Bulatovic was placed under police protection.

Montenegro Expects Investment Surge in Tourism
The Montenegrin government has great expectations of foreign investment in tourism this year, as development projects started in 2014 undergo expansion.
The government's programme of economic reforms in tourism, which BIRN has seen, expects more than 250 million euro in tourist-related investment in 2015.
