MERDARE - Pristina authorities arrested a Serb man at the Merdare administrative crossing last night for alleged spreading of racial and religious hatred, the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija said in a statement.

PRISTINA - Pristina's special prosecution office has indicted a Serb man for an alleged war crime.

NIS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday he had pointed out the issue of the safety of Kosovo-Metohija Serbs to the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak.

The boy was returning home from school when he was killed.

The victim, whose parents moved to Switzerland from the town of Lipljan in Kosovo, was killed on Thursday.
The incident happened only some 200 meters from his school.
The woman used a knife to stab the boy and then left him lying in a pool of blood on the sidewalk.

Nehat Thaci told a court hearing in Belgrade on Monday that he denied charges accusing him of expelling a Serb family from the village of Lipljan during the Kosovo war in July 1999 and threatening them with a bomb.

KLA graffiti appears on Serbian Orthodox church walls

LIPLJAN -- Graffiti spelling out the Albanian acronym for "the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA)" - UCK - appeared on the walls of a Serbian Orthodox church in Kosovo.

The Church of Saint Flora and Lavre in the town of Lipljan was found defaced in this way on Saturday morning.
