A plane transporting a Brazilian soccer team to Medellin’s international airport in Colombia crashed overnight, officials said.
Authorities are responding to the plane crash at a hill in La Union, according to the Jose Maria Cordovaairport’s Twitter page. The municipality is roughly two dozen miles from the airport.
