No plans for power cuts, citizens must save energy
LAZAREVAC - The Serbian government is doing all it can to stabilise the energy system, but there are no plans for power cuts, Energy Minister Aleksandar Antic said as the Kolubara Mine Basin started draining water from the Tamnava West Field coal mine on Wednesday.

14th Festival of Street Musicians opens in Novi Sad
NOVI SAD - The 14th annual Festival of Street Musicians has begun in Novi Sad with a performance by the world-famous Harlem Gospel Choir.
The festival, which opened late Thursday, ends on September 6 and will feature more than 200 participants - soloists, bands and troupes from the United States, Ireland, Italy, Israel, Mexico, Moldova, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

Jamie Oliver's magazine in Serbian print soon
NOVI SAD - Jamie Magazine will appear in the Serbian language print on October 1 and it will be issued by the Novi Sad-based Color Press Group.
Jamie Magazine, featuring recipes of world-famous contemporary chef Jamie Oliver, first appeared six years ago. With the contract signed last week in Novi Sad, the number of print editions has reached the figure of ten countries.

BELGRADE - The Novi Sad-based Energotehnika Juzna Backa and Romanian SC NESS Proiect Europa SRL are tasked with draining water and sludge from the open-pit coal mine “Tamnava-West Field", based on the tender invited by public company Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) and Kolubara Mining Basin.
