Padua

An outdoor bull ride in the town of Padua, Spain, had a dramatic ending when a bull broke through a makeshift barricade and struck spectators with its horns, killing one and injuring three.

According to Spanish media, the dead man is an 80-year-old man while the injured include a girl of just three years old who was found at the bullring with her grandparents.

Since 2015, when migrants and refugees from the Middle East, Asia and Africa began crossing the Balkans in significant numbers, Trieste has been a hub for those trying to reach bigger Italian cities or continue deeper into Western Europe.

The authorities in the coastal town of Herceg Novi, in Montenegro's Boka Bay, are preparing for an influx of pilgrims next month when they exhibit the remains of St. Leopold, the Catholic priest who was born in the town. 

With the slogan "together", thousands of citizens in several European cities sent their own message of solidarity and support to the newly elected Greek government.
