Linglong makes EUR 800mn investment, to create 1,200 jobs
This is the largest investment in Vojvodina worth more than EUR 800 million and that the whole Serbia will have huge profits from that factory, the president said, according to the Serbian government.
Serbia makes new aircraft after 30 years
The airplane was manufactured in Utva Aviation Industry in Pancevo, Serbia.
41M program, better- known as Sova, is a project financed by Yugoimport-SDPR J.P., Serbian defence company.
Utva, largely owned by Yugoimport, arranged designing, modification, building prototypes, testing and plane certification, said the official release from the factory.

Serbian Journalist Probing Ivanovic Murder Reported Missing
Serbian police on Thursday said they had started a search for Stefan Cvetkovic, a journalist covering the murder of the Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic, after his abandoned car was found in his hometown of Bela Crkva in northern Serbia.
The police said they found the car Cvetkovic was using parked with the doors open and the lights still on.
Popular Serbian Actor Nebojsa Glogovac Dies
Serbian actor Nebojsa Glogovac had died in Belgrade having been admitted to the Institute of Oncology ten days ago, which is when media reported that he was seriously ill and that his health condition was serious.
Glogovac was born on August 30, 1969 in Trebinje, southern Bosnia, into a family of Orthodox priests. The family moved to Pancevo, Serbia, when he was seven years old.

Protocol signed to support economic empowerment of women
The protocol concerns the realization of the project ONAsnazivanje, and was inked by Fund B92, the City of Sremska Mitrovica, the City of Pancevo, and the City of Sombor, as well as their respective welfare centers.
Vucic: Foreign direct investments at 1.6 bln euros in 2017
PANCEVO - Foreign direct investments in Serbia totalled 1.6 bln euros in 2017 - 8.3 pct more than last year, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Monday.
"And last year we had more investments than all countries and territories in the region put together," Vucic said at a ceremony marking the start of works on the Deep Processing project at the Pancevo oil refinery.
After region, earthquakes reported in two Serbian towns
A magnitude 3.8 earthquake was on Wednesday evening felt in the town of Pancevo, northeast of Belgrade.
A short while later another earthquake, of 3.6 magnitude, affected Vrsac, a town located further northeast, near the border with Romania.
