Vucevic: Gov't conducting policy of peace, stability, economic development
PARACIN - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic said on Thursday his government's first hundred days in office had been marked by a continuity with previous governments and by a clear policy of preservation of peace and stability and economic development of Serbia.
Speaking to Tanjug, Vucevic said his cabinet was proud to be a government of continuity.

Vucic: Lithium mining to go ahead only if it is no threat to environment
PARACIN - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday there would be no lithium mining in Serbia for at least another four years and that he would not allow any lithium mining to go ahead until it was confirmed it would not pose a threat to the environment.
Vucic: First 1,000 Komarac 2 UAVs to be produced by September
PARACIN - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Thursday's live ammunition military exercise Fire Strike 2024 at the Pasuljanske livade training range in central Serbia had primarily focused on UAVs and their links with other systems and that Serbian-made Komarac 2 (Mosquito 2) UAVs had been seen in action for the first time.

Floods and Hailstorms Hit Serbian Towns
The Serbian Hydrometeorological Institute issued an 'orange' weather alert on Monday, warning people to be prepared for severe weather and heavy rains that could cause flooding in the eastern and south-western parts of the country.
The Institute warned that the water levels of several rivers in these regions might increase on Monday and Tuesday, possibly causing localised flooding.

Davenport delivers keys to families in Paracin

Six members of demining squad decorated
PARACIN - The Russian ministry of emergency situations decided to give medals to six members of the humanitarian demining squad for their outstanding service in the territory of Serbia.
Members of the demining squad received scrolls of honor for the service in line with the highest professional standards from the Serbian-Russian humanitarian center based in Nis, southern Serbia.
