566 are new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in Bulgaria. 9786 PCR tests were performed. This is indicated by the data in the Unified Information Portal.

1248 are newly cured, 58 are dead, 284 are in the intensive care unit. Most new cases are in Sofia, Plovdiv and Pazardzhik.

34 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, or 9 more as compared to the previous day, the National Information Website on Covid-19 announced. 

13 new cases of the novel coronavirus were registered in Sarnitsa municipality. 149 of all patients diagnosed with Covid-19 are admitted to hospitals, of whom 8 in intensive-care units.

A Code Yellow warning for strong winds has been issued for 24 Bulgarian regions on 27 February, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) said on its website.

In the morning, clouds will break and the rain will stop for a while, but even before noon it will start again from the west and will cover most of the country. In the evening the rain will gradually end from the northwest but will continue in the southern and eastern areas overnight, significant amounts expected there. Thunderstorms and hail more likely in southern Bulgaria.

The warning is in place for the regions of Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven, Lovech, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik and Sofia and Sofia-city. Rainfall of up to 25-30 l/sq. m is expected in these areas, or more in some places.

The warning is in place for Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Sofia - city, Sofia, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Pernik, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad and Smolyan.

They will blow to moderate wind from east to northeast.

Contracts have been signed for BGN 9.3 million investments in fish processing enterprises under the Marine and Fishermen Program. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
