After data on the European Commission's air quality index reported extremely high levels of pollution in Sofia, Plovdiv, Russe, Veliko Tarnovo and Shumen on Sunday, the forecast now shows fine particles above the norm for the capital, reported the Bulgarian National Television. 

Sin Cars, a Bulgarian producer of racing cars that compete in the GT4 European amateur championship series, plans to go public to finance expansion into the electric-cars market, reports Automotive News Europe. 

Dangerously dirty air has been reported across the country since the beginning of the year, with the most serious situation in the capital.

The European air quality index shows high levels of pollution in Sofia, Pleven and Russe. The cities of Plovdiv, Blagoevgrad, Kardzhali, Varna, Bourgas, Veliko Tarnovo and Sliven are also highly polluted.

On 23rd of October, the Bulgarian commission for forfeiture of illegally acquired assets confiscated a ship, which is the first case of its type. "Balkan Princess" was operated as a restaurant for a long time in the city of Russe, situated on the Danube river. The ship is now in the port of Vidin, another city on the Danube.

A Bulgarian-Romanian working meeting in the Bulgarian town of Russe on the Dunabe will discuss the need to build a 3rd bridge over the Dunabe on the territory of the cross-border region of Russe-Giurgiu, reported BGNES.

MPs, representatives of state and local administration on both sides of the Dunabe, as well as other interested parties have been invited to attend.
