Prime Minister Boyko Borissov arrived in Israel, where he will be on a two-day visit.

In Tel Aviv, Prime Minister Borisov will take part in a ceremony for the opening of a monument - a symbol for celebrating the Bulgarian contribution to the rescue of Bulgarian Jews from the Holocaust, the press service of the Cabinet said.

President Klaus Iohannis stated on Tuesday that a decision regarding the relocation of Romania's Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would cancel any chance for our country to be voted as a non-permanent member in the United Nations (UN) Security Council.

"We have achieved so much since we first met in Tel Aviv many years ago. Our personal friendship is a reflection of the friendship that exists between our two countries."

This was stated by Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu at a joint press conference with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.

Prime Minister Boyko Borisov will be on working visits to the State of Israel and Palestine from 12 to 14 June.
