In Montenegro, heavy rain in the towns of Pljevlja, Mojkovac and Rozaje blocked roads due to rising water levels and landslides. The Interior Ministry said its Protection and Rescue Office was in constant communication with local authorities, adding that the army is on standby if the situation worsens.
Montenegro, Serbia to Open New Border Crossings
Almost seven years since negotiations started, Serbia and Montenegro have agreed to open six new border crossings and to sign an agreement on regional and international cross-border traffic.
According to the Interior Ministry documents, which BIRN has seen, the two countries agreed to signed additional protocols on joint border checkings, to meet EU standards.

Mayor of southwestern municipality dies in car crash
Semsudin Kucevic, the head of the municipality of Tutin, in southwestern Serbia, has succumbed to the injuries he received in a traffic accident.
The accident happened today on the Novi Pazar-Tutin road, Tanjug reported on Thursday.
