Yugoslav Officer Acquitted of Shelling Croatian City of Varazdin
Zagreb County Court on Monday acquitted former Yugoslav People's Army, JNA colonel Vladimir Davidovic of the shelling of the northern Croatian city of Varazdin in September 1991 after retrying him in absentia.
Croatian Court Denies Early Release to ‘Captain Dragan’ Again
The county court in the Croatian city of Varazdin on Friday rejected a request for the early release of former Serbian paramilitary commander Dragan Vasiljkovic, widely known as Captain Dragan.
Vasiljkovic applied for conditional release because he has served two-thirds of his sentence.

He interpreted the ban as a democratic freedom of expression
The concert was banned at the requests of Croatian veterans in the city of Karlovac, Croatia.
Just before the government session, Medved told the press that the ban wasn't any form of intimidation.

Croatian Soccer Coach Feted in Bosnian Hometown
Thousands of people feted the coach of soccer World Cup finalists Croatia, Zlatko Dalic, in his hometown of Livno in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday, as celebrations of the team's feats in Russia continue.
That same day, Dalic was shortlisted for the Best FIFA Men's Coach award, and superstar midfielder Luka Modric was nominated as FIFA's Player of the Year.

Known for his use of the Croatian WWII fascist Ustasa slogan 'Za dom spremni' ('Ready for the Home(land)') in his famous 1991 wartime song 'Cavoglave', Thompson and his concerts are banned across Europe.
During the concert, Kosic - clad in a brown leather jacket - recited verses from Thompson's song 'Maranatha', while the band provided accompaniment.
