BELGRADE - Red Star Belgrade beat Spain's Laboral Kutxa Vitoria 90-82 (18-18, 28-27, 24-18, 20-19) at home late Friday to reach the Top 16 stage of the basketball Euroleague as the second-placed team in Group D.

Head coach Dejan Radonjic's team will play in Group E of the Top 16 stage, with third-placed Laboral Kutxa going to Group F.

VITORIA - Crvena Zvezda defeated Laboral Kutxa 86-66 (21-22 20-12 25-16 20-16) in the 5th round of Group D of the Euroleague in Vitoria on Thursday.

The Belgrade team won very important points this way and took a great step towards reaching the top 16 stage. This was their third victory in the competition, putting them in second place in the group, behind Olympiacos.
