Bulgaria's Council of Ministers has approved the establishment of an honorary consulate for Namibia in Bulgaria. This consulate, set to be located in Sofia, will cover the entire Bulgarian territory.

The Official Visit of Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva to Angola Has Begun
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva arrived from Windhoek in Luanda. She will be on a two-day official visit to the Republic of Angola at the invitation of Foreign Minister Manuel Domingos Augusto, the first of its kind since 1989, the Foreign Ministry said.
Zaharieva's Official Visit to Namibia Has Begun
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva arrived at the Josea Kutako Airport in Windhoek. She will be on a two-day official visit to the Republic of Namibia at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for International Relations and Cooperation, Ms. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.

Female Turkish diplomats driving Africa policy
Female Turkish ambassadors are driving policy in a number of African nations, including Mozambique, the Ivory Coast, Namibia and Uganda.
Aylin Ta?han was appointed as Turkey's ambassador to Mozambique in 2011, making her the first female Turkish ambassador to an African country.
