Armenia’s violation of Karabakh agreement unacceptable: Erdoğan
Armenia's "violation" of the agreement, reached after 44 days of conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, is unacceptable for Türkiye, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Sept. 14.

However, due to the overall "tumbling" of the international scene after Russia started the war in Ukraine, as a result of which universal sanctions were imposed on it, the interests of other countries are now not far from Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Ceasefire?
Azerbaijani media reported that Baku and Yerevan agreed on a cease-fire in the new conflict as of 09:00 local time today. "A ceasefire agreement was reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan starting today at 09:00 a.m. local time," Sputnik Azerbaijan reported, referring to its sources, according to the Russian agency.

Azerbaijan and Armenia Renewed Fighting over Nagorno-Karabakh
Another escalation between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region. The fighting was again renewed. According to Yerevan, Azerbaijani troops attacked Armenian positions in three places with artillery and heavy weapons.
However, Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry said the fighting was sparked by a large-scale Armenian sabotage attempt.
Azerbaijan, Armenia report deadly border clashes
Türkiye on Sept. 13 firmly sided with its regional ally Azerbaijan in the latest deadly outbreak of violence in the Caucasus, telling Armenia to "cease its provocations" against Baku.
Clashes erupted overnight along the volatile Azerbaijan-Armenia border near the occupied region of Nagorno-Karabakh, leaving troops dead on both sides, defense ministries in Baku and Yerevan said.

Turkish, Armenian officials to meet in September

Turkish and Armenian officials have agreed to open the land border for third country citizens visiting both countries as soon as possible, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on July 1.
Türkiye, Armenia to hold 4th meeting for normalization bid
Türkiye and Armenia will hold the fourth round of meetings for the normalization of ties, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement on June 28.
"The fourth meeting of the Special Representatives for the normalization process between Türkiye and Armenia, Ambassador Serdar Kılıç and Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan, will take place in Vienna on July 1, 2022," read the statement.
