‘People can donate containers to quake zone’
In the aftermath of the deadly Feb. 6 quakes, the problem of shelters continues to persist, as the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) has announced that citizens or companies who are willing can donate containers to the quake zone, in a bid to provide adequate accommodation to quake survivors.

Circular tells Turkish officials not to treat refugees from Kobane, Sinjar: Reports
Close to 230,000 refugees from Kobane and Sinjar that have fled to Turkey due to jihadist attacks on their homes will not be given anything but emergency healthcare in Turkey, according to a circular by an official prime ministerial agency, several media outlets have reported.
Two more bodies recovered from Ermenek coal mine
Search teams have reached the bodies of two more trapped miners in the flooded mine in Ermenek, central Turkey, 20 days after the disaster.
Eighteen miners were trapped underground after a flood at a coal mine in the Central Anatolian province of Karaman on Oct. 28.
Two bodies were also recovered from the mine on Nov. 6.
