Mark Zuckerberg wants to add a little more "book" to Facebook.
The Facebook founder and CEO announced on his page recently that he has vowed to read a book every other week in 2015, with an emphasis on learning about different beliefs, cultures and technologies.

Peru says deforestation on the rise, up 80 pct from 2001
Destruction of the Peruvian Amazon is rising after expanding over more than 145,000 hectares (560 square miles) last year - an 80 percent jump from the start of the century, the government said on Dec. 2.
Forest is mainly being cleared for farming, said Gustavo Suarez de Freitas, an official in the environment ministry.
Deforestation in Brazil's Amazon soars by 450 percent
Deforestation in Brazil's storied Amazon basin region skyrocketed more than 450 percent in October from a year earlier, a non-governmental group warned Nov. 17.
The alarming loss was the equivalent of 24,000 football pitches, said Imazon, which works to support sustainable development in the massive and unique ecosystem.

Google plans to use drones for delivery
Google on Aug. 28 said it is testing using drones to deliver items bought online, putting its own spin on similar efforts by Internet retail titan Amazon.com.
Two years of research into what Google referred to as âProject Wingâ was capped this month with test flights delivering candy, water, medicine, dog treats and other items to two farmers in Queensland, Australia.

Antalya's Eko Park welcomes monkeys from South America
Eko Park in the southern province of Antalyaâs Kemer district has welcomed new guests from Peru and Guiana, which include eight monkeys of three different species: Saimiri sciureus (Squirrel monkey), Cebus paella (Capuchin monkey) and Saguinus midas (red-handed Tamarin monkey).
