Red Bull loses lawsuit against local soda company
Austrian energy drink giant Red Bull lost its trademark cancellation lawsuit against a local company producing soda in the Mediterranean province of Antalya.
In the last hearing of the case held in an Ankara court, Red Bull's case was dismissed on the grounds that there was no similarity between the two trademarks.

Croatian regulators approve Petrol’s takeover of Crodux, Iskra’s takeover of Elka
Zagreb – The Croatian Competition Agency (CCA) has given Slovenia’s energy company Petrol a green light on the takeover of Croatian petroleum products seller Crodux as well as authorised the Iskra electronics group to acquire Croatian electric cable manufacturer Elka.
Hungarian energy group MOL buys OMV’s Slovenian service stations
Ljubljana – Hungarian energy group MOL has acquired a network of 120 service stations operated by Austrian energy group OMV in Slovenia, subject to regulatory approval. The purchase consideration for the outright stake in the company OMV Slovenija is EUR 301 million, MOL announced on Tuesday.
OMV Turkey buys LNG-powered trucks from IVECO
Austrian energy giant OMV has replaced 10 percent of its truck fleet in Turkey with natural gas-powered ones as part of its environment-friendly and sustainable growth approach, the general manager of OMV Turkey has said.

OMV selling off service stations in Slovenia
Ljubljana – The Austrian energy group OMV has decided to sell off its 120 petrol stations in Slovenia as part of an ongoing EUR 2 billion divestment programme, the group announced on Thursday. In Slovenia, the group operates filling stations under the brands OMV, Eurotruck, Avanti and Diskont.

OMV Wants to Sell its 287 Gas Stations in Germany
The Austrian energy company OMV wants to sell its 287 gas stations in Germany. The company announced its intentions in Vienna on Thursday. "With this possible sale of the OMV gas station business in Germany, OMV Aktiengesellschaft is actively moving towards managing its portfolio in the direction of sustainable and profitable growth," the statement said.

Analyst Explains Role of Different Countries in Turkish Stream
Earlier this week, Kommersant daily cited sources as saying that the Russian gas giant Gazprom announced plans to extend the Turkish Stream pipeline to Bulgaria, then Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia. The Bulgarian and Serbian routes are expected to be put in operation in 2020, followed by Hungary in 2021 and Slovakia in mid-2022, reports Sputnik.

Austrian energy group OMV and Russia's Gazprom are considering reviving a gas pipeline project through the Black Sea connecting Russia to central and southern Europe, an Austrian newspaper said on June 13.
EVN, NEK Settle Old, Multi-million Dispute
Austrian energy company EVN has reached an out-of-court settlement with the National Electric Company (NEK) on an old dispute dating back to 2012 - 2013.
The amount is unknown but the Austrian group estimates that the funds agreed will raise its net profit for the current quarter by EUR 38 M.
