PayPal Acquires a European Company for $ 2.2 Billion
PayPal Holdings acquires iZettle, one of Europe's most popular financial starters. The value of the deal is $ 2.2 billion, the companies said.
The agreement will allow PayPal to expand its presence in the global payments and represent the largest acquisition in the history of the San Jose-based company in California.
ATHEX: CCHBC keeps index afloat

Warren Buffett becomes top shareholder in Bank of America
American billionaire Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway group has officially become the top shareholder in Bank of America after exercising its right to buy 700 million shares at a discount.
Buffett had received the warrants in 2011 after investing $5 billion in the bank, which was suffering at the time from the fallout from the global financial crisis.

Delta Air Lines and Bank of America have announced that they are pulling their sponsorship of a Manhattan-based theater company’s portrayal of Julius Caesar as a Donald Trump look-alike in a business suit who gets knifed to death on stage.
Atlanta-based Delta released a statement on Sunday saying it was pulling its sponsorship from The Public Theater “effective immediately.”
Zarrab jury trial suspended by nine months
A jury trial against Turkish-Iranian businessman Reza Zarrab that was scheduled to begin on Jan. 23, 2017, has been suspended until Oct. 16 after the judge in the fraud case ruled that the defendant's legal team required extra time to prepare for an additional indictment regarding Zarrab's alleged ties to Hezbollah.
